One of our main goals for our volunteers, which we call Ommhomers, is to help them learn how to alleviate their anxiety and depression through mindful movement and living in the moment. We call this “Movement as Medicine” because the more we practice this mindful way of being the more it rewires our brains to naturally be in that state. We reset our energy at least a few times a day through brief group meditations.
